I note that a Sadaya Shumsher J. B. Rana was among the graduates
just announced at Sandhurst...doubtless one of the multitudes of
descendants of Balnar Singh Kunwar who proivided hereditary Prime
Ministers of Nepal from 1846-1951,and have frequently intermarried
with the royal house.
Is there a good Rana genealogy out there?
I'm also a little hazy on the ones between Sir Chandra SJBR(died 1929)
and Juddha SJBR(served 1934-46,then Padma,then Mohun...who had been
next in line and what did he wnd up doing?I know some have served in
cabinets since,and other posts).

Please find my blog that might be of interest to you. I cover episodes of Rana history and anecdotes otherwise not found in the public domain.
