Auersperg - their slave origin
They were owned by the Edelherren Auersperg, who became extinct around 1200, one of their ministerialis picked up their name. A ministerialis could be given away, his wife, widow, daughter had on the masters demand to serve him, &c. The Gotha write nonsense and that since 1931!

Owned as a Ministerialis with the same rights and duties as slaves in the time of the Romans. What a ministerialis posessed he possed for his Lord.

Auersperg - their slave origin
You really can tell us what happened in beds somewhere up in the castles when the Lord was beating up the Osmans or the neighbor ? It is highly probable that most families have unknown soldiers, secretaries, maids, teachers, etc etc in there origins. Some families are much more noble than they think to know others the contrary

Does this have anything to do with the slave origin of the Auserserg or other ministerialis families?
