A topic concerning some real nobility for a change. Today, New Year's Eve, is the anniversary of the death of Sean South of Garryowen, killed inRaw Message
action with British occupation forces in the six counties on the night
of 31/XII/1956 to 1/I/1957.
"Undying fame surrounds his name."
See which has photographs.
Interestingly, even the crowds in Milan, Italy seem to know of him, as
they chant along to "Sean South", see
(Note: In this second video "Sean South" does not start until ~ 1:10
minutes into the track, which is a poor quality amateur live
recording, but has an interesting crowd response).
Regards,
The Chief
